The Registered Dietician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  1. Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments
  2. Participate in care planning meetings as required
  3. Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family
  4. Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards 5. Perform duties independently without training or direction


Position Requirements:

  • Must possess Registered Dietician licensure within the state of operations
  • High comfort level with enteral nutrition
  • At least one year of experience in a long-term care setting
  • Experience with MDS 3.0
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process preferred
  • Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations

A Dietary/Food Service Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of the Food and Nutrition Department staff.  Assists the Director with the overall operations of the Food and Nutrition Department.  Implements established departmental and organizational policies and procedures.  Follows standard practices and complies with regulatory requirements.

Plans, organizes, directs and supervises food service activities and the delivery of food to the patients. Works with staff to maintain effective workflow.  Evaluates operational performance of the department and recommends change to increase quality of service, productivity and cost effectiveness.

Trains, orients, instructs, assigns and supervises food service staff. Evaluates performance and recommends personnel actions such as merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.  Participates in the development of in-service and training program for staff.

WORKING SHIFT: Saddle Brook – 11am-7pm weekdays and every other weekend. 

West Orange – 11am-7pm alternate with 6:30am-2:30pm and every other weekend.

Total of 37.5 work week.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a state-approved course in Food Service Management
  • Completion of a state-approved course in Sanitation preferred.
  • One or more years’ experience supervising food service personnel preferred.

The Cook performs independently in a variety of assignments relating to the preparation of meals to patients and patrons of the Medical Center. Follows appropriate sanitation regulations concerning food handling, preparation, storage and ware washing. The employee is expected to be involved in the planning and facilitation of change in an effort to continually improve the services of the Nutrition Department.


  • Prepares meals for patients and patrons in a timely, accurate and organized way.
  • Practices proper sanitation and inventory control by using the FIFO method, labeling and dating products, disposing of outdated products, washing hands and wearing gloves and communicates low stock items to management.
  • Participates in ordering and receiving orders from vendors.
  • Follows appropriate portion control to assure cost containment and dietary compliance.
  • Operates essential equipment to their job duties and restocks stations.
  • Participates in sanitation of department to include but not limited to: cleaning service ware and pots, sweeping and mopping, breaking down cardboard, disposing of trash and cleaning/sanitizing carts and surfaces using appropriate chemicals.
  • Participates in the preparation and plating of salads, sandwiches, while following recipes and portion standards. Is responsible for processing catering orders and maintaining product for either the hot or cold service station.

Minimum Education:

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred: Culinary Training, Associates degree in Foodservice or Bachelors in Foodservice or Nutrition

Well established medical products distribution company is seeking a Marketing Manager to join a growing sales and technical support team and be responsible for the marketing expansion of a new software driven labeling solution into the Healthcare market.

MedVantage is a 20+ year business selling labeling systems into Healthcare.  The successful launch, and subsequent business growth, of an innovative labeling solution to Healthcare Foodservice and its software adaption to another medical department warrants a new position within the company to expand the product to other medical departments through our Inside Sales group.  A successful candidate will be self-motivated, self-managing, well-organized, personable, team oriented and result driven.

Primary Responsibility:

  • Identify new applications within Healthcare departments.
  • Develop business value, sales, and support requirements.
  • Work with Director Product Management to develop software applications/product market needs.
  • All outbound activities generating product awareness to include mail campaigns, trade show activity, literature, and sales support for successful launch.
  • Will eventually assume additional marketing responsibilities of other existing products.
